The Pak Business Express train ticket price starts at about Rs 1,600 for economy from Karachi to Hyderabad and reaches Rs 9,900 for AC Standard from Karachi to Lahore. It covers the 1,214 km run from Karachi Cantt to Lahore in around 19 and a half hours. Launched in 2012 as a premium joint venture, it has been run by Pakistan Railways since 2015.

A premium train that lost its premium
Pak Business Express began as an all-business-class joint venture with Four Brothers in 2012. Demand fell short, economy coaches were added within weeks, and Pakistan Railways took full control in 2015. The fares still carry some of that premium positioning without the product to match it.
Where it fits
Against Tezgam and Karachi Express at Rs 4,900 in economy, it is Rs 600 dearer without sleepers or AC Business. Against Green Line at Rs 5,600, it is barely cheaper for an older train. Its main use is as another departure slot on a busy corridor.
