Bahauddin Zakariya Express is the exception: it runs Karachi City to Multan Cantt and ends there, so it reaches Multan at an hour chosen for Multan passengers rather than as a stop in the middle of the night. It is also among the trains the government is tendering for private management, so its operator may change in the coming months.
