Pakistan Bus Operators: Fares, Routes and Contact Numbers
A complete directory of the bus companies covered on this site, with fare floors, regions served and what each one is actually good for. Fares range from Rs 350 with Rajput Travels in Multan to Rs 9,650 for Daewoo Gold Class on the long corridors.
How to use this page: operators are grouped by the region they actually serve rather than alphabetically, because that is how you choose one. If you know your route, start with the region section. If you are after the lowest fare, skip to the cheapest fares table.
Three things that decide which operator suits you
Does it run your exact town?
The national brands cover the big cities well. For smaller towns like Kot Addu, Vehari, Chach or Gahkuch, a regional operator running a direct service usually beats two changes with a bigger name.
Do you need a berth?
Only a minority of operators offer sleeper berths, and none of them on the northern or Swat corridors. On journeys over twelve hours this matters more than the fare.
Can you book it online?
Several operators, including K2 Movers and Hindukush Express, take bookings only by phone or at the counter. On routes that sell out in season, that is a practical obstacle.
National operators
These companies run across provinces with large fleets, multiple classes and established terminal networks. They are the default comparison point for any long journey.
| Operator | Fare from | Sleeper | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Faisal Movers | Rs 567 | Yes | Largest network, 200+ cities, 30 kg luggage |
| Daewoo Express | Rs 1,500 | No | Terminal quality and punctuality, Gold Class |
| Skyways | Rs 900 | No | Value tier, 20 cities, running since 1985 |
| Road Master | Rs 850 | No | President Cruise 2+1 seating, no Karachi |
| Kainat Travels | Rs 1,100 | Yes | Sleeper value, but online tickets non-refundable |
| Niazi Express | Rs 850 | No | 150+ destinations, cargo with tracking |
| Pakistan Express | Rs 820 | No | Karachi to Rawalpindi long haul, partner network |
The one caveat worth knowing
Kainat Travels makes online tickets non-refundable, which is unusual and catches people out. You can reschedule up to twelve hours before departure, but you cannot cancel for a refund. Faisal Movers, by contrast, allows cancellation within a three to six hour window. See the refunds and cancellations guide for the full comparison.
Punjab operators
Regional operators working the Punjab corridors and the towns the national brands pass by. Several are long established companies with deep local knowledge of one route.
| Operator | Fare from | Base | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bilal Travels | Rs 700 | Lahore | Four brand group, GT Road routing, since 1992 |
| Kohistan Express | Rs 950 | Lahore | Bilal group brand, motorway routing, UAN 041-111-776-444 |
| New Khan | Rs 880 | Lahore | Since 1956, western Punjab, central Lawrence Road office |
| Bashir Sons | Rs 850 | Faisalabad | Faisalabad belt towns, entire fleet air conditioned |
| Shalimar Express | Rs 1,000 | Jhang | Still runs non-AC coaches, so the floor fare is lower |
| Fateh Sons | On request | Gujrat | Since 1956, also trades as Gujrat Express |
| Sania Express | Rs 1,960 | Lahore | Owned by Faisal Movers, four classes |
| Power International | On request | Punjab | Seven routes, modernised Yutong fleet |
| Sandhu Power | On request | Punjab | Bookme ticketing, easily confused with Power International |
| Q Connect | Rs 5,950 | Lahore | One route only, the only Pakistani bus with a washroom |
Two name traps in this group
Kohistan Express is a Bilal Travels brand, not an independent company, and Sandhu Power and Power International are separate companies with near identical published descriptions. Check the name on your ticket in both cases, because the boarding points differ even where the company does not.
South Punjab and Sindh operators
The operators covering Multan, Bahawalpur, the Indus belt towns and the Karachi corridors. This is where the cheapest fares on the site sit, and where direct services to small towns matter most.
| Operator | Fare from | Base | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rajput Travels | Rs 350 | Multan | Lowest fare on the whole site |
| Waraich Express | Rs 400 | Sadiqabad | 25 cities, Karachi to south Punjab, since 2005 |
| DMC Coaches | Rs 650 | Sindh | Karachi to Larkana via Sehwan Sharif and Dadu |
| Adil Shah Coaches | Rs 650 | Karachi | Indus belt towns direct, 30 kg luggage |
| Silk Line | Rs 1,000 | Lahore | Newest major operator, founded 2020, 100+ buses |
| Baloch Transport | Rs 1,350 | Layyah | Founded 1955, the oldest operator covered here |
| Al Makkah Coach | Rs 900 | Multan | Multan hub in three directions, keen fares |

| Baba Pehlwan Transport | On request | Vehari | Karachi to Vehari and Bahawalnagar, phone booking only |
| Al Sanober Bus | Rs 4,000 | Karachi | Karachi to Attock, Chach and Hazro direct |
Northern operators
The Karakoram Highway, Hazara and Swat operators. No operator on any of these corridors offers sleeper berths, which is the single most useful thing to know before booking a journey of sixteen hours or more.
| Operator | Fare from | Serves | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| NATCO | Rs 1,200 | Gilgit-Baltistan | Government owned, cheapest to Gilgit, China route via Sost |
| Mashabrum Tours | Rs 4,000 | Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu | Founding GB company, bookable on Bookme |
| K2 Movers | Rs 4,300 | Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu, Ghizer | Wide recliners and USB charging, no online booking |
| Hindukush Express | On request | Skardu corridor | Two twin cities counters, phone booking |
| Hazara Movers | Rs 1,200 | Abbottabad, Mansehra | Hazara division specialist |
| Motorway Express | On request | Peshawar, Swat, Abbottabad | Luxury coasters, frequent departures, 15+ years |
| Swat Coach | Rs 2,500 | Swat, six cities | Widest Swat network, based in Mingora |
| Swat Express | Rs 3,500 | Karachi to Swat | Single corridor, luxury Yutong and Daewoo |
| Geo Swat Express | Rs 3,500 | Karachi to Swat | Only Swat operator with two classes |
| Afridi Movers | Rs 4,500 | Peshawar, Kohat | Direct Karachi to Kohat, wide departure window |
| Diamond Coaches | On request | DI Khan | Wide reclining seats, charging at every seat |
The three Swat operators
Swat Coach, Swat Express and Geo Swat Express are three separate companies with similar names. Swat Express and Geo Swat Express both charge Rs 3,500 Karachi to Swat; Swat Coach charges Rs 6,120 but runs a six city network from Mingora. If you are comparing prices, make sure you are comparing the same company.
Balochistan and Kashmir operators
The Quetta corridor is unusual: sleeper coaches there cost less than premium seated ones, which is true nowhere else on this site.
| Operator | Fare from | Serves | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Al Saif Bus Service | Rs 3,200 | Karachi, Quetta | Single berth sleeper below the seated premium fares |
| AK Movers | Rs 3,500 | Quetta to 9 cities | Fastest Karachi to Quetta schedule at 9h 30m |
| Muzaffarabad Express | Rs 2,022 | Azad Kashmir | The only AJK operator covered, three classes |
Why the Quetta sleepers are cheap
Regional operators including Al Saif and New Shandaar compete hard on the Karachi to Quetta run, while the national brands charge national rates on the same road. A single sleeper berth at Rs 3,200 costs Rs 2,300 less than AK Movers seated standard, which is the clearest value decision anywhere on this network. See the Karachi to Quetta fares for the full comparison.
The cheapest and the most expensive
If fare is the deciding factor, these are the extremes across every operator on the site. Note that the cheapest fares are almost all short regional hops rather than long journeys.
Lowest fare floors
| Operator | Fare from |
|---|---|
| Rajput Travels | Rs 350 |
| Waraich Express | Rs 400 |
| Faisal Movers | Rs 567 |
| DMC Coaches | Rs 650 |
| Adil Shah Coaches | Rs 650 |
| Bilal Travels | Rs 700 |
Highest published fares
| Service | Fare |
|---|---|
| Faisal Movers Sleeper Plus | Rs 13,350 |
| Daewoo Gold Class | Rs 9,650 |
| Kainat Sleeper | Rs 9,500 |
| Q Connect Club Class | Rs 5,950 |
| Al Sanober, Karachi to Attock | Rs 6,000 |
| AK Movers, Quetta to Peshawar | Rs 6,900 |
Which operators offer sleeper berths
Only a minority do, and none on the northern or Swat corridors. If you want a berth, your options are Faisal Movers, Kainat Travels, Crystal Lines, and the Quetta corridor specialists including Al Saif and New Shandaar. Everything else on this site is seated throughout, including eighteen and twenty four hour journeys.
Operators with an unusual range of vehicle types
Crystal Lines
Non-AC Hiace and coasters, luxury coaches, business class and sleeper berths, all from one Rawalpindi terminal. Check what you are booking, because a van and a berth are not comparable.
Shalimar Express
One of the few branded operators still running non-AC coaches, which keeps its floor fare below competitors on the same routes.
Motorway Express
Luxury coasters rather than full coaches, which fill faster and allow more frequent departures on short corridors, at the cost of hold luggage space.
Operators no longer running
These companies still appear in bus directories with fares and contact numbers, but are not carrying passengers. We list them so you do not plan around a service that has stopped.
| Operator | Status | What it ran | Book instead |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ali Express | Ceased 2022 | Lahore to Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur | Silk Line, Niazi Express |
| ITC Cruzer | Reported closed | Volvo coaches, Karachi from major cities | Daewoo Express, Faisal Movers |
Why stale listings are a real problem
Fare directories are not always updated when an operator stops running. If you book or plan around one of those listings you will find no bus at the terminal. Where a page here says an operator has ceased, treat any fare you find for it elsewhere as historical.
